Every birth is a unique and wonderful experience for every couple!
Therefore, optimal and individual childbirth care is very important to us. We are happy to take care of your birth in the Sanatorium St. Leonhard. In order to guarantee the most continuous care possible 365 days a year, we have formed an obstetric team of two. This means that we, Dr. Barbara Ploder and Dr. Antonia Lipp-Pump , who take on obstetric care in the form of an on-call service. The prenatal care and childbirth support take place in close cooperation with your midwife.
For us, in addition to a healthy mother and a healthy child, the satisfaction of the parents is our top priority. In this regard, we try, as far as medically justifiable, to take your wishes into account as far as possible and thus enable individual obstetrics. Through our years of work at the University Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics Graz, we have been able to gain a lot of experience in the field of obstetrics. We accompany future parents through the wonderful time of pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium according to your wishes based on the current guidelines. In the event of a high-risk pregnancy, we will look after you together with colleagues from the University Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics.
We offer complete care from the desire to have children through to childbirth or childbed. In our ordination, we carry out all maternal child passport examinations as well as all prenatal diagnostic examinations. In the course of your pregnancy you have the opportunity to get to know all 2 gynecologists who are in charge of an obstetric check-up.
